I need a snow plow for my Dakota ... just to do my driveway.

I'd like to buy used, but am having trouble finding anything...ie craigslist...etc

I'll buy new if I have to, but don't want to spend a lot of money

thx.......Ken

I got a Minute Mount 1 Fisher 7 1/2' Plow for my truck for $1000. I was able to find the truck side mount for $100 but that is rare. Its a beast of a plow and works great, I'd recommend a Fisher if your looking used as they seem to be everywhere. For new I'd go with a Snowdogg by Buyers (around $2800 new! and stainless blade), Boss Poly Plow 7 1/2', then a Fisher LD 7 1/2.

I agree, but I'm not "plowing"....I'm shoveling my 150' driveway....prolly less than ten times a year.

Our trucks should not be used to plow snow. Read your owners manual. The front of our trucks are on collapsible frame rails that slide backwards during a crash, dropping the engine under the truck and not pushing it into the cab.

Using a snow plow would push these rails and possibly set off your airbags.
