What would be involved to convert a 2wd truck to a 4wd truck, if you have all the parts and have a 2wd truck sittin next to a 4wd truck ready for the work.

1975 d100

1978 w150

Also would be it easier to just do a body (front clip, cab and bed) swap? and how is the body bolted on to the frame, I guess only you frame off resto guys could answer this.

Thats what I was thinking too, I've had the bed off before but no too sure on the cab. If i am not mistaken theres four big main bolts that hold the cab for the most part and they have big rubber shock absorbers or vibration dampers?

Should be too bad of a job

i believe that 2 of the bolts for the cab are in the front under the carpet and 2 in the rear under the fuel tank if you have one.
