I am going to do the fod light jumper mod. Should I put an inline fuse in the jumper? If so, what amp rating should i use? Also, what gauge wiring should I ise for the jumper? Thanks!

Are you setting the fogs to stay on with the high beams? If so, use 14 ga wire and a relay. Fuse the power from the batery to the relay and then run a wire from the highbeam to trip the relay. This way you dont pull voltage from the headlight circuit and melt the harness or the switches. Also, if you want your low beams to stay on with the Highs, you can install a 5 amp 12 volt diode from the high to the lowconnector at the lamp. A diode is a one way valve that once installed will let the lows come on with the highs but the highs will only work in the hi position. Good luck... Chris

What amp rating on the fuse?

Go by the wattage of the lights you are running. If they are the factory fogs, I think 15 amp would do. I'd rather go low and blow the fuse than high and burn the harness.
