How do i get front brake rotor off

i cant figure out how to get the rotor off i dont see any snaprings that need to come off please help 1998 dodge 2500 cummins24valve diesel 4x4

ON 94 to 99 2500/3500's you must pull the hub assembly and the knock the rotor off from behind the hub. On 2000 up the 2500/3500 went to a slip on rotor like a 1500.

Your post from V10 sport ( #7 post) is exactly correct. The Rotors will hammer off once the hub/bearing(one unit) is removed. You will probably destroy the rotor doing this,they do not come off willingly.Your area dealer or specialty 4x4 shop may have the specialty puller available for rent(there is a specific tool for this) if you intend to do this work yourself.If your installing new rotors, don't worry about it.Beat them till the jump ship.If your replacing, Buy Wagner rotors...very superior in quality, are about 60 thou thicker than oem, and can be turned two or even three times in the future with tons of metel left above minimum spec...Mike
