Mine's crapped out on me. I like the setup though so I plan to repalce it with the same unit. Who else has had problems with theirs? Let us know what model radio and year vehicle you have too (i.e. RAQ, 2006).
I have an 04 Limited that has refused to play or eject any CD, actually it will play CD slot #1 but that's it. I currently have 6 CDs being held hostage though. Good times!
My 6-disc died in my 04 the other day. I have the Rear DVD-VES and would like to retain functionality of that. I could care less about having the CD changer. So my question is this-- Is there a factory unit compatible with my 04-VES combination that offers a single disc and an auxillary input? Any advice would be appreciated.
I have the same issue, with my 04 Durango Limited. 6 CD changer, with no Rear DvD player.
6 disc CD changer always worked fine. One morning I came out to my car, and the battery was dead. After jumping the car, I discovered the the CD function no longer worked. Every time I enter the vehicle, the CD changer turns on, and makes noise like it's changing CD's. You can't even select the CD option. The radio itself works fine. Sucks not having a CD player, or a AUX port for a MP3 player.
Has anyone installed an aftermarket radio that has the factory VES installed? And if so does everything work? I ask Only because I see some else has the same question, but see no reply. So I figure I would ask it again.
I just bought my 06 Durango on Friday. The CD changer loads the discs and even plays them, but they only play for a little while, then it stops. Sometimes it plays for 30 mins, other times only about 5 mins....
