Speed Dragon, I think I've got you beat on the "beater" scale. Let's just say the old girl's body needs some serious TLC:
But hey, she starts on -20 mornings, plows and rakes my 900' driveway, and brings in the cordwood that I cut in the woods (that's when I lock the hubs and do some serious offroading!)

Haven't looked at it since before Christmas. In-laws took off to Florida for the winter so been at a standstill till middle of April. Hope to have it done this summer sometime.
You mean your better half would actually consider getting in the cab??! Mine won't come within 10 feat of the beast.
Actually, truth be told, I asked her to drive it once in our pre-marriage, pre-kid days. You see, we were cruising up Route 1 up the Maine Coast one morning, and I wanted to know if she could handle the truck in an emergency. She's a decent driver, but had never driven anything of that width or height before and got a little psyched out by it. Let's just say that by the time we hit the Deer Isle Bridge (a suspension bridge built in the 30s, no shoulder and about an 8-foot travel lane in each direction--matter of fact her sister bridge is a well-known landmark in your neck of the woods Bherder, Oregon)--I was back behind the wheel.
Personally I think the thing is a snap to drive and handles great (for a truck). It was the first year Dodge offered power steering, and it's really a cinch.
Yeah, she does every once in a while, but only when there is no other option... She still doesn't get that you have to 'climb up' into my truck, rather than 'stepping down' into that stupid Bravada she drives....

Mine always shrieks "AHHH!!!! WE'RE GONNA TIP OVER!!!"

Last week, my wife and I were going into Newport (Closest any kind of town around here) and driving the War Wagon. Well after following a logging truck for about a mile or so, I romped on it and passed. When the tranny kicked down into 2nd, her head actually hit the back window (SORRY SWEETIE!!!!!!!) and she had the look of abject horror on her face the rest of the way and back.
I felt pretty bad. For a minute or two.

Eh..... That's why I keep telling my wife... "This is why God created Bravada's"
(I'd absolutely hate that thing if it didn't get such good mileage...)
