Heyguys, recently I've repaired my transmission n I added higher stall more clutches n valve body, but when i stomp on the gas my truck won't shift. Called revmax to see what I could be they told me to adjust tv cable. Well I took it to a transmission shop to get it fixed they told me 1998 dodge rams don't have tv cables that they are fully electronical, so I called hemifever to lower my shift points. He told me the same thing revmax did, I don't know much but I trust hemifever n revmax than aamco transmission shop.
The tv cable is on the passenger side of the throttle body, has a white clip you pop off and adjust tv pressure. Is your truck not down shifting, or not up shifting? If not down shifting move cable towards firewall.
Thanks guys will do and ill have somebody that's big enough to slap transmission guy. By the way its my first time repairing a trans same guys wanted to charge me .3500 to repair ir stock. For less than that bought 3800 stall ( ill adding boost later). Valve body with shift kit and more clutches n have a better trannie lol
That help me out a lot. My truck is running smoothly, up shifting with no problem, you can feel the kick back a lot now when it shift s thanks again. And no thank you aamco, your worthless shop robbing people.
