What is a Group-Buy?
ANSWER: Group-Buys are limited time sale items where the price may be contingent
on the # of purchase commitments and orders received through DodgeTalk.com. The
more
orders received, the lower the final price may become to all participants!!
Who can participate?
ANSWER: Any registered member of DodgeTalk.com
can participate. Registration to DodgeTalk.com
is FREE so pass the word!
How can I participate?
ANSWER: Use the Group-Buy Suggestions Forum
to post a
particular item you are interested in and would like to see offered. You should indicate the
manufacture, Item # (if available) and a description of the item.
If our staff or other community members have any questions, they can reply directly to
the post. The more interest shown here from
the DodgeTalk.com
Community (via reply's to the post), the better the
chance of the item becoming an Active Group-Buy!
The Dodgetalk Team will then review the suggestions and if we can offer it, a post will be placed in the
Active Group-Buys Forum with the complete details of
the offer.
How do I get in on a deal?
ANSWER: To get in on a deal, just hit the 
button while viewing the offer
in the Active Group-Buys Forum. On the special form
indicate the quantity you desire, along with any details that may be required in the comments section. When ready hit "Submit Order Commitment" at the
bottom. Congratulations, you are now in on the deal!
At the close of the Active Group-Buy, the participants will be notified
by the sponsor of the deal on how to complete the purchase and the Group-Buy
will be moved to the Group-Buy History Forum.
Its that easy!!
Now for the fine print:
The Group-Buy Forum is not a place to be used for promoting others
goods or services. Please refer to our Posting
Guidelines. If you provide goods/services that you feel can benefit
our membership, Contact Us. If you, in any way, receive compensation from a particular deal or are conducting a Group-Buy, please DO NOT post it in
our Group Buy forums. Contact us directly HERE to
discuss your suggestion. We are very interested in your ideas and can work with you to promote your Group-Buy! Failure to comply with this policy can and
may result with us terminating your registration with DodgeTalk.com.
Posting a commitment to buy in the Active Group Buy Forum, you
agree that you will follow through with your commitment at the
published end of the Group Buy. While we do understand that personal
circumstances may preclude you from following through with your
commitment, repeated failure to do so may cause us to terminate your registration
with DodgeTalk.com, at our discretion.
If the # of member commitments are not followed through at the close of the Group Buy, the purchase price will
either fall to the next higher price bucket or be cancelled altogether, depending
on the situation. All participants will be notified via the forum or e-mail in that case and you may then cancel your commitment, without penalty, if the price becomes higher than originally published.
