hey i have a dodge full time 4x4 with a 318 just wondering how in the hell i can make this as loud as i possibly can but still be street legal thanks for ur help

Headers and mandrel bent pipes exiting out the side with glass packs between headers and pipes. Also use 2.25" pipe

Just cut the muffler off and let it fall on the ground. Run over it a few times for good measure.
If you're too loud, the local PD will let you know....

run headers... and 3" true duals... with mufflers or straight pipes (depends what sound you like)... and turndowns... that is the loudest you can get.

Just to throw a wrench in the gears here... Keep in mind what 'loud' is...
I mean, what will 'pass' in Armpit Arkansas, ain't gonna come close to what's acceptable in, say, Bel Aire CA. ....
(Don't ask how I know... Let's just say I Know...) ;)
You might wanna check and see if there are any local 'noise' ordinances and whatnot. KEEP IN MIND.... What may sound 'way-cool-bitchin' to you, may NOT to the local Barney who happens to pull up beside you. And he/she is the one who will put pen to ticket....
Again... Don't ask how I know... Let's just say I Know ....
Just a thought. 'Fixit Tickets' get VERY annoying.... ;)

if you take the muffler tailpipe and all the emissions crap out of there it will get really loud
a friend of mine built a hemi when he was a kid he built it out of a blower motor and extended the cam, bored out the cylinders and took all the unessicery exaust system, the list of things they did to it is too long to list
but when they got done it was so loud it ona clear night it could be heard over ten miles away :D
