I have 2.8v on the input that is supposed to be 8v going to the sensors the voltage slowly rises to 4.9v (last reading) so I think there may be a bad resistor or connection anyone track thisw down further? may be a simple fix that these "rebuilders" are making a killing on.

What sensors are you testing?

cam/crank/veh speed sensor

8v is supplied to the cam sensor via the orange wire at cavity 7 at the PCM, the ground is cavity 4 at the PCM. A 5V reference signal is returned to the PCM at cavity 44 with the rotor facing towards the rear of the engine (according to the manual this how you test the cam sensor)

8V is supplied to the crank sensor via the same orange wire at cavity 7 at the PCM and the ground is also cavity 4 at the PCM. No reference signal info. is given however to test the crank sensor, disconnect the crank sensor connector and check for resistance across terminals B & C at the pigtail coming from the sensor....there should be 0 resistance.

Also according to the manual you should use cavity 4 as your ground source for the volt/ohm meter while testing for voltage.
