Hmmm... I think I may be having a problem boosting... my needle seems to look blurry (vibrating too fast) when under WOT. Just vibrates about a 1/4 pound but enough that it's gotten to the point where it bugs me.
Never a boost spike, just holds for a split second then starts to drop in the high RPM's.
I've been thinking I may have a slight boost leak now for about a month or so... I haven't gotten a chance to tighten the hose on the back of the turbo but will try today. I thought it was my purge valve cuz it looked warped, so I replaced with a Forge BOV and it's still the same. Checked all the hoses up front and they are ok.
When I first got the car I would spike 16 and drop to 14-15 and the needle didn't vibrate.
1700 miles and I have never tightened that rear clamp on the back of the turbo. I hear that one is notorious for coming loose?

Those numbers aren't too far off... Though, it sounds like you could have a boost leak.
First, boost will be lower in colder weather than warmer weather. Also boost will start falling from around 5000RPM-redline. I believe stock it falls to around 10. When I hit around 2000-2500 miles I had asked the same thing almost because my boost stopped "spiking" and would just go up to like 10 psi and hold there in all gears. I was told there should be somewhat of a spike then settle were it holds untill it starts dropping as you approach redline. I turned out to have boost leaks at that time.
It would be a good idea to do a leak test. Go over the clamps, and reset the computer.

Today the weather was nice and it was still acting the same. What's the best way to get to the Turbo Outlet? Remove the CAI and get back there? And this may be a stupid question... but how do I reset the computer?

Went to the shop at work and tried to pressurize the system, but couldn't get over 4 lbs thanks to the stock wastegate... I think I remember reading that you had to block some hoses when doing it but I wasn't about to start guessing. After a failed attempt at that, I decided to go over all the clamps on the hoses again starting from the turbo outlet all the way to the throttle body. I even pulled the cold side pipe from the intercooler and watched as oil came spilling out of it. This is where I saw some oil residue... I figure if oil can go through it, so can air. Cleaned the intercooler and pipe, seated and tightened.
Voila.
No more needle vibrations, she jumps to 14-15 psi spike then works down and holds at a nice 13-14 in second and up... feels like a new car.
WOT into second feels sooooooo good now.

One more thing - i know i've seen it spike more - but the weather just broke today and finally rose above 50 - it's about a very cool 62 right now... I know some warmer weather will make it spike and boost more... i think... right?

You have to block off the line that connects to the intake plus where you have the breather.
14-15 spikes are pretty much normal for stock, I don't think you'll see more very often.

You reset it by taking the 20 fuse in the fuse box closest to the bumper not the firewall.

Battery connected or disconnected? When I worked at a dealer I always used a laptop to flash the ECU.

You can disconnect the battery for like 5-10 minutes or pull the fuse apparently to reset the computer.

You can do it while the battery still connected. Yeah you can also disconnect the battery for a bit. But I found it easier just pulling the fuse.
