I need to replace a CV joint on my 2001 Neon R/T, So I'm going to get a remanufactured CV Drive axle.
My quesiton is... The online site asks for whether it's for a car with ABS, Manual Transmission.. the usual, but it also asks whether it has a Acr Competition Suspension. I've never heard of this before, I dont think my car has it.. Does anyone know what models this is on? Or if you can point me in the right direction that would be great!

There was a Neon ACR model built, but not sure if the R/T had the same suspension.

There were no ACR neons made after '99, to my knowledge, save for the special edition SRT-4 ACR's. I dont know why they would ask that, unless the questions are universal to all neon years.
ACR stands for American Club Racing. It was basically a lightweight version of neon, with an adjustable suspension and a few other performance tweaks. All weight adding options (A/C, power windows/locks, moonroof, etc.) were not available on ACR neons, and the bodyside moldings were even removed to save weight. R/T's were not ACR's, so the answer to the question would be no, you dont have the ACR Comp. package.

Technically, there were no 1st gen ACR "models" made... ACR was a sales code for the competition package (for the Base, Highline, or Sport model, depending on the year), and the name stuck (sounded enough like AAR to be cool, I guess). The name even carried over to the mighty Viper, where the sales code for the competition package was completely different. Weird... Oh, and you could get some of the options on the ACR's (both gens), depending on the year - the first 182 ACR's (all sedans) only had a rear defroster as an option (no radio, no a/c, nothing), the rest could get radio and a/c. The 2nd gen ACR could get a convenience package that included a/c, keyless entry, power locks, and extra interior lighting.
2001 was the first model year to actually have an ACR model, and 2002 was the last. They share the same engine, tranny and exhaust system as the R/T, but the suspensions are not the same (ACR is double adjustable struts, stiffer springs, stiffer sways). So if you have an R/T, you do not have an ACR, or the competition suspension.
Best of luck!
