Just was on the AEM web site . Good news for you SRT4 guys they have just released there ems for the SRT4 . They have been working on it for long time now. I have one of there units on my truck and love it. Gives new meaning to tuning.

Yeah I've seen people talking about this. Don't know much about it, or tuning, I let Mopar do my tuning. At this point, not sure how far I'm taking this car. Probably not enough to need the EMS.

But sounds like it's a good thing for people that need it!

Yeah It is not for every one . If your going to build one to the max .They are great .Plug and Play you can adjust every thing with a laptop. They have spare output pins that are programmable. Anti lag options , Traction controll , they use the factory sensors. Gives you total control of fuel , timing , boost , idle speed , cold fuel control and more.

I have been reading about the Hydra EMS, even from people that are very adept at tuning with AEM and a few others say it is hands down the easiest to use and most versatile. Not sure about all the features but there is a fairly current discussion about it going on over at srtforums, I would post a link but my newb statis will not allow it, LOL! Also the Hydra is being sold at a fair amount cheaper from what I gather......

I just went to the Hydra EMS site it does look like a nice unit. Would want to know more of what it does control and does not . Wonder does it take care of regulating the Alt. The AEM has a high suggest price but can be bought for alot less. Madwax I love your signature

Thank you! I copied from a magazine test article, but I forget which one, LOL!

Here is a link to the post on the SRT-4 site that covers a vendors review on the Hydra unit, also has prices I believe.

I would really like to see a non-biased comparison of these 2 units, maybe even with a tec 3R as well side by side.
