I have a 2000 Neon whose passenger door lock makes a strange noise when locking and unlocking - and most recently its unable to unlock. Car alarm would go off randomly in middle of night or in middle of day with no one around it. Any ideas? I took out the fuse for power locks to hopefully prevent the alarm from waking me up again in the night, and for the past few nights I have been alarm-less. Door lock motor? Or something else?
