I've made my own leak detector - the home depot way - and was curious as to how to go about testing... which pipe do i disconnect and connect it to?

I know to have the key in the "ON" position with engine NOT running (lol) and not to pressurize the system more than 20 PSI... but i just don't know the right place to hook it up to...

Anyone? :D

Directly to the turbo

So, technically I can use my air intake? (closing breather inlet and air temp inlet) easy if that's all there is to it :rck:

Technically, yes. Not usually recommended though. The K&N is what? Aluminum? Better than trying it with the plastic stocker :D

You'll also have to plug the valve cover pcv inlet, and the other hose that connects to the intake.

remove the intake and put the leak tester directly on the turbo. plug the black line that connects to the bottom of the intake pipe.
