Does anyone have a lead on when the programmer will have the bugs worked out? I hear that it causes the loss of 5th gear in some cars, and lagging on acceleration at times.

Hide-n-see.
Really, that's what I'm doing :D Just give them time and it will all work out.

I called Superchips this morning.
They said that some early Chargers need a (dealer) reflash to work properly with the Flashpaq.
Mine had 6 miles on it when I test drove it a little over a week ago, probably not an "early" one.
BTW, it has over 1,000miles on it now. :D
Just love driving it.
0-60 times are just over 6 seconds. With the Flashpaq I'll bet I can crack into the 5s. :rck: :rck:

What is the build date on your Charger, and have you had any of the problems expressed on the 300 forum or here for the 5.7 hemi? Thanks for your post. I'm trying to find out what an "early" Charger is. By the way, what is a dealer reflash?

Just my two centavos.
I'm not sure what a reflash is. Sounds like that would over write the program logic most likely stored on a EPROM within the cars computer.
Most of the time you will get a update "flash" for a portion of the logic that is falty or causing a problems.

I think he ment a Flash. It is where there is a update for the computer in the car.

It's been a while since I posted the question, so has anyone learned whether the flashpad has been de-bugged? We're waiting till it's ready to buy one of these little buggers, so someone who really knows, let us hear from you. Thanx.

As soon as I can salt away about $100 more I am going to order mine. My school taxes are due before May 1st, that's a BIG nut to crack!
I have the Superchips 3815 on my Power Wagon and it makes the truck into a real monster.
Superchips said that it will make the same amount of power in the charger.
I can get 0 to 60 in just over 7 seconds in my 6,000# Power Wagon. I can't wait to see what that kind of power will be like in a 4,000# charger. :rck: :rck: :rck:

I downloaded the latest upgrade to mine a while back.
Only problem with doing that (unknown to me, nor in instructions) is that it deleted the "stored" factory settings.
