I did it to my Quad some time ago.

Easy as can be.

Mine bolted to the body mounts with the included brackets.

No real tips I can give you except to torque the bolts to the specs that the instrutions say.

10 mins to do both sides by myself.

You will laugh at how easy it really is.

25 mins from box to body mounts LOL!
I think changing my oil was tougher than that,it was pretty cut & dry.
Thanks.
My kids are happy, now when they go to get in the truck they can step on the bars and stop whacking there shins on the door thresholds :VHOT:makes life easyer for the lil people.

Getting mine with my factory ordered '06. They're as important as heavy duty rubber mats. Where I work, the pit-run clay-mud is a burden. The bars work perfect for banging my boots off while climbing in ;) I swear by them.

I got the Mopar versions, it was kind of interesting as you had to thread a long wire with a spring on the end holding the bolt in order to get it behind the hole in the body, then use a nut to put it on. The hardest part, as you may have guessed, was threading those wires. :)

Thats weird what are the springs for and why do they needto be threaded through?
The ones I got required 8 bolts,8lock washers & 8 flat washers IM posting the directions.

The wires are threaded through pre drilled holes in the frame that were made for the mopar nerf bars.Just takes a little care still only took less than a hour to put them both on the truck & it's a real solid mount.Thoase holes are covered with black tape on the inside of the frame.

What he said. :) The springs just go around the threads on your bolt, and a rectangular washer is put over it. Then, the whole thing is threaded through the holes in the body frame so that the washer and bolt are behind the holes where you normally couldn't get to.
