I have just bought a new 2005 SRT-4 in white and want to put racing stripes down it. Problem is I can't decide what color so I thought I would ask for opinions. I don't want to do blue due to that being the color on the commemorative edition. Any thoughts? Plus any recommendations on where to get them from?

Im actually putting decals on mine. I have a blue srt and probably going with black (seems to fit the skeem I'm going for), but that's something you should really think long and hard before anything. Remember you'll be driving the car, I would sugest finding pieces of different color vynel material and see what you like.
As for a good place, it seems like a lot of graphic places are starting to pop up all over the place. You should check out what you got in your area, who knows it might be cheaper then online and easier to put your own bit of taste to the stripes. I'm all about being different from everyone else.

I have found a local shop that can install and has local suppliers so i will go and see them tomorrow and see what they can do

Very nice, looks good very unique.
Met with the local graphic shop today, they can custom make anything so I have definatly found the place. Just need to measure up the car now to get exact sizing required and then work out a color. They have all the samples there and can install too. I can't wait! It will be a couple of weeks then I will post some pics. The car is presently getting stage 2 coilovers and Mopar exhaust fitted. Next week it gets its new rims! ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

ive got an white 05 srt and iam planning on adding 2 viper red stripes from the bottom of the frt 2 the bottem of the rear bumper, ill run them the same size and place as the radiator cut outs, air brushing the rear emblems in carbon fiber. i think its cool to be unique and stand out but cops pick u out and remember u esier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 2 suggestions:
1st:
post a pic of your car in the Concept / Modified forum, as tell people what you are considering, some have someone "photoshop" the style of stripes and the colors so you can get a real idea of what it would look like
then
2nd:
ask WAMPA - he's one of our sponsors and has all SORTs of stripes and decals ........ worth a shot

I like it! BUT I am anti sticker, I could not have that on my car personally, get it airbrushed for real killer looks, plus they can highlight it and make it really amazing!!

I have finally got the stripes installed. I found a great shop that seem to do just about anything from graphics to lambo doors.
Ok so I know the car is still in need of a good clean but these were taken when I first got the car home.

Thanks for the positive feedback, I was a little unsure of the color choice but I wanted something different and I liked the idea the burgundy/blood red. I think it works well.
I did not want to get the stripes painted on just in case I do ever decide to sell the car. With vinyl I can remove the stripes if a potential buyer does not like my choice, there is no way I would have the car re-sprayed.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing at first. But the vynil is good up to like ten years or something (with proper maintanance) and I can easily take them off if I choose to later.
