I know the srt has the best acceleration but a couple sites qoute the 2004 ford lightning having a little faster top speed.
Post your qoutes, specs, stats, or whatever else and lets see whos the fastest
1/4 mile and on a long term race who would win??

Of course its faster, its all a conspiracy by ford to make the ferd seems faster so everyone will buy one:), i think i hear a black helicopter,gotta get my tinfoil hat:).

The prototype they are showing is pretty much maxed out to all it can be.It looks to be a warranty nightmare for ford if they build it like that.All that's left to do on it is maybe give the driver a rocket pack to keep going once it implodes into itself.In case no one has noticed.The new fords will be putting on a bit more weight than the current trucks.It'll need the extra power to quicker or even as quick as the current lightnings.Besides that,look at it.Built by ford.Designed by tonka.Forgive me ma mopar,but I believe I'd rather drive a chevy luv with a small block than the 2004 lightning.It'd be quicker and prettier.SRT-10 hands down.Easy choice.If I had the money for either the SRT-10 would be it.
