I read a thread about this subject but can not find it. I can pick up a remote start from Mopar for 90.00. Does this require a dealership install or can I plug and play?

I think it requires a dealer install unless you buy the wireing harness which runs about $120 i think.

Having one installed @ cost plus installation was part of the deal I made on wifey's (foxeevixen) Go Man-Go Daytona.
After seeing what was involved in the dealer installation, I would not want to try the installation myself. The receiver mounts to the windshield just to the right (passenger side) of the rear view mirror. The wiring harnesss goes into the headliner from there. It took the dealer a couple of hours to do the installation. Both of the keys have to have the "chips" programmed also. It cost me $298 and it is under the 36/36 warranty. It's just not worth the headaches and risk for the $$$$$ IMO.
