Hello,
I am new to the forum and have just acquired an older Class C motor home on a dodge chassis. I need to set the timing and can't figure out where the timing marks are. There is not enough room to peer down from the top, and my Haynes manual shows them to be on the bottom of the block. At any rate I can't see them, any one out there know where to look.
Thanks,
Ron

Lots of the motorhome motors had the timing marks visible through a hole in the top of the bellhousing that was accesible after removing a rubber plug.

Of course if the trans has been changed or the converter, this may not work for you, try using a mirror with the timing light or just ake it down the road and power time it.

Hope this helps:)

Six pack Thanks for the heads up on the flywheel timeing marks, Shine that light right through the whole in the bell housing and there they were just winking at me every time Number one fired.

Glad it was still "as it left the factory" for you.:)
