1982 Dodge D150 Paint codes

Someone please help me:

I recently just purchased an 82 Dodge D150 2wd with a slant 6. It needs some minor body work before I can paint it but I want to stick with the original paint because I like it. I really can't find the paint code on the truck and need some assistance in do so. Can anyone help me? This would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ed H.

Have you asked a bodyshop where you plan on having it painted yet? Or have you looked for the build sheet or had it printed for you at the dealership? The dealership may or may not charge for it, besides wouldn't you like to know a few things about the truck too?

Thanks for the advice, maybe I will try to do that. But no, I'm not asking a bodyshop because I am going to do the painting myself. All the body work and everything. But I will try getting a build sheet on the truck because I plan on restoring it. Thanks for the help.
