Just recently my interior lights started blinking on and off, along with my door ajar light on the dash (it blicks and bings), and my power locks keep clicking locked repeatedly.
I have replaced my fuses already. but that didn't work. It is just getting annoying.
At first it happend the first 10 - 15 mins. then when the car warmed up it was fine. now it doesn't stop. if anyone could help, I would greatly apprecitate it.
Thanks
Sarah

One of the switches that activate interior lights has a problem. It could just be corroded or dirty contacts, in which case cleaning or sanding is all it will take to fix it. But if the switch has broken, you'll need to replace it. As for isolating which door has the problem, your guess is as good as mine. If all the switches look clean, and you're looking for a broken switch, I would start with the door most likely to be slammed unnecessarily, meaning the one the kids use most often.
Good luck, and let us know what you find.

I'm having a similar problem on my 98 gc. It also includes periodically the dash gauges and speedo going completely dead...and now the CEL is on all the time but there are no codes. FYI, I did the odo reset/ignition thing and there were no codes there either. Is there a BCM? Could this be the problem for everything? If after a reset, if it still has the same problems will replacing the BCM cure it?
Thanx, scott

We had the same problem on our 97' Caravan. It was like the van was possessed by evil demons driving us crazy. I realized it was the sliding door passenger side causing the problem, because the contacts were very dirty. I used steel wool then used a cleaner to make it nice and shiny.
hope this helps-Ron

I had a similar problem with my Neon. Was diagnosed as a short in the wire leading to the door sensor.
