anyone out there know if the overhead rail system can be purchased after buying the van? I have an 06 but it didn't come with it, didn't know about it till i bought the van.

You can probably buy ANYTHING from the dealer but expect a STEEEEEP price.
Hell Each of those sliding boxes on that system are $140 if I want to add one to my rails.

well, called the dealer then but no go. he said you can't order it, has to come straight from the factory. Wait for a junker i guess

Also you will need the different mounting brackets and different headliner since its shaped different.
Edit: Just thinking of what you said as you cannot order it. Anypart can be ordered to be replaced, it just depends on the money you want to spend and how much time the parts person want to spend on looking into it.

I don't think they are supposted to slide. I have the problem where the tabs on the locks have cracks in them. The ones that lock the bin to the rails.
