Hello,
I have a problem with the dash lights on our Caravan. My wife left the key on Saturday and the battery went dead. I charged it, and all was fine. Until she went to work this morning and there were no dash lights. Also no lighting for the radio or heater controls. The odometer still illuminates correctly and the gauges work properly. Any suggestions?

The first thing I'd do is pull the IOD fuse that is in the fuse and relay box under the hood. I think I pulled mine for about 20 mins, then re-install. When the battery goes dead or is disconnected, you sometimes have to reset the body control module. Give it a try and let us know if it works for you.

Yeah the IOD will probably fix it , leave it out a couple of minutes then reinsert.

Thanks for the reply. After posting my question, I searched the forum and found out about the IOD fuse. Pretty easy fix! Wish the owner's manual had that info.
Mike.

They wouldn't tell you that in the manual , then they would have to admit their computers occasionally get hung up . Maybe their programmers worked at Microsoft before chrysler . :D
