Can the Navigation System Play DVD?

I just purchased the R/T and I have the indash navigation system with the rear dvd player. I wanted to know if I could modify the navigation system to play dvd. If so, how? I already tried entering a dvd into the navigation dvd reader.

Negative.

The Navigator "tray" will only accommodate the CD that comes with the vehicle to compliment the Navigation system. No other DVD/CD will play, but am sure there is a "workaround" somewhere, perchance...

yea there is a aftermarket input that can be added I have seen it talked about on here I think in the magnum section..

Can the dvd player in the center console be integrated with the navigation system's monitor? I want the same dvd that is played in the back to be displayed on the the navigation system.
