How can I fix this? I have a 2004 Intrepid, 2.7, 49,000 miles, out of warranty. Please help someone.

i posted this in your previous post - definatly want to check it out probably the part and maybe the cables

Cam shaft position sensor is just under the black air intake manifold on top of ur engine.
It is on the right hand side under the intake manifold plastic wedged between the cam shaft's circular cover that kinda hides it.
they Hayes or Haynes car manual 12 bucks at the nearest auto store is great, but it didnt show this location well enough to llok at the pick and pop ur hoos and say oh there it is
when you change this unbold the plastic intake from the top and the side angle holders - the book suggests taking the whole thing off . doing this give you enough room to change it out.
