Code said Camshaft Sensor A malfunction and sometimes the van will just instantly die on the road and won't even crank or startup until I wait 5-10 mintues.

Where is it located on the engine since I bought the part already and just need to know where it is.

My van is a 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan AWD 3.8L

There's a cam position sensor and a crank position sensor. One is on the top passenger's side of the block, and the other is at the top driver's side of the block, and I'll be darned if I can remember which is which, but I'm going to say passenger's side. I guess take a look at both, and see which one is closest to the crank, and which one is closest to the cam. That should settle it.

Good luck.

Going off of memory here, but pretty sure it is on the passenger side of the block, like gas28man said. I had to replace mine about a year ago. If you have a Haynes or Chilton manual, it will give a good description of how to change it. It is pretty easy, I think unhook the battery, unplug the connector, and just one bolt to take it out. Take a look at the plug, I think they use a different type of connector for each component, so you might be able to figure it out by comparing the ends.
