2002 Caravan Cooling Fan?

Just wondering every how often should the cooling fan in a 2002 Caravan work?

there is no really good answer to this

I presume that you have concerns that the fan is not working

You can test the fan by unplugging the harness and use test jumpers to put power to the fan to see if works

you can test both speeds if you have the two speed fan

Another way to test is to just let it idle for a few minutes. I suspect the fan might come on after 10 minuies or so depending on the air temperature. However, keep half an eye on the temp guage to ensure the car is not overheating if the fan does not seem to be coming on after a 10-15 minute idle

If you have A/C, the fan should come on as soon as you switch on the air

Some vans came with a 2 speed fan

I have replaced the relay on my 98 caravan and they still not working. I have tested by groundidng the control input pin on the relay and the fans work fine. Does anyone knows what kind of signal I should be getting from the computer module ? (ECM) THANKS FOR ANY HELP !!
