Hi,
I have a 2000 Caravan Sport (SB) with 77K Miles.

I have a noise coming from the steering colum which I can best describe as a
"squishing or sloshing" noise when the steering wheel is turned back & forth.
I just had the upper & lower couplings replaced by the local dealer but the noise is still persistant. Has anyone have any answers?? I can't seem to find a competant mechanic who can diagnose this problem.

Thanx much!

I would guess sway bar bushing. There's one on each side. They're rubber, and they squeak when they get old. I tried spraying silicone on mine, and it worked fine for about a week, and then it came back. At some point, I will fix it, but it won't affect driveability at all. Makes the thing sound like a total junker, though, squeaking over every bump, and when you get in and out of it.

Good luck.

Rick
