I have a '94 GC SE, 3.3L, 130K. I was recently on a long trip and the van started dying at 70 mph. It was sometimes hard to restart it, but if it sat for a few minutes, it would start back up. Sometimes it would run real rough and wouldn't get above 30 mph. Eventually, I got it running again and went the rest of the trip at 50 mph with no problems. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is other than the fuel filter?

I have had that exact problem a dozen times with my 93 GC, ususally during high speed trips, but not always, and not recently. Replaced fuel filter and it still happened. Never got stranded, but can't help but wonder if it's a matter of time. Did you ever find a cause/resolution?

Bad or failing sending unit on the fuel pump. Just a matter of time is correct, it could run this way for a few years or give out within days or weeks. My 93 did this a few times then was OK for a year then it finally failed.
