i have a 2005 caravan 3.3L and i ran out of mopar filters last oil change and instead of using mopar i used a after market filter puroilator, i noticed after a couple of runs a couple of drops of oil on the floor. i looked at it and seen the outside of the filter was wet with oil.so i went down town and bought a fram filter and it still leaks... it appears to be leaking around the gasket. and now before ya all go and say sumfin stupid like did ya remove the old gasket.. yes i did. i just wonder if anyone else has had trouble leaking oil around the filter? i,m gonna go this week and buy a mopar filter and see? maybe there is some sort of bypass in there to keep high pressure off the gasket? you would think tho that the after market would do the same? i'll let you know how it goes. :gr_patrio
