Thanks to Admin for giving us a place to talk about the most exciting new Mopar in thirty years! :rck:
Maybe if we keep talking DCX will listen, and one of these will be in your driveway soon! (or mine) :D

Well I'll be looking into a new car around 2008/2009 and I was thinking of going to nissan/infiniti, but this concept has changed my mind

Neeeeed one. If they bring it the way they've built the concept (minus the lack of wheel clearance) everyone in their right mind would want one... I'm torn as to whether they should make a LOT of them at a relatively low price for mass appeal (so I can get one easier) or whether they should produce a limited number, or maybe just a lim. num. of r/ts or something so that it doesn't end up in everyone's driveway - then it just won't be quite as hot. But then again... this thing is nuts...

I was looking at the Challenger on Dodge.com, and judging by the interior pictures, if you’re a tall person you won’t be able to drive one of these. From the looks of the picture, the driver compartment is going to be tight. I’ll have to see one in person, but I don’t think there is anyway I’m going to ever fit in one of these (6’9” does not help my cause when it comes to looking at cars). I think I’ll have to stick to trucks.

FreeLantz, Anything new lately? Haven't heard anything around here. Hope DCX isn't having 2nd thoughts. They sure need to keep the hook baited so us fish don't swim to another pond ie Camaro, Mustang 500GT

This car looks absolutely amazing. I'm a huge fan of the muscle car resurgance that is taking place with US auto manufacturers right now (the camaro is nice but it's no Challenger.) I really hope that the production version of the vehicle is no different than the pictures. It looks great in every way.
I heard rumors that not every dodge dealership will have it for sale though. Anybody know if thats true or not?

:gr_patrio Sorry to offend my Canadian Mopar brothers but as a UNION member myself how can we shut factories down in Sait Louis & New York & add an extra shift in Canada ?? are you not both UAW members (brothers) " UNITED WE STAND DEVIDED WE FALL " There has to be a happy medium !! ??? I love the new Challenger I will own one no matter where it is made in North America. Thank You !!! :gr_patrio

I reckon "we" (union members) aren't gonna decide squat.
The owners of a company determine when and where a vehicle will be built, not the employees.
Yes, my wife has already informed me that we'll have a new Challenger when it comes out.

yeah I'm going to try and get one about halfway through the year basically once I pay off my ram I'll put a sizable deposit down on it(5 grand hopefully) then me and a buddy of mine will do a bunch of custom work. I have a couple idea tossing around in my head custom T/A decal set and custom T/A hood with some nice gloss black rims with a nice polished lip. I like the concept cars color but wouldn't say no to say a sublime or a Purple Crazy challenger

New to the forum here. The sole reason I joined was to get ready for the Challenger. I have been riding a motorcylce for almost two years and flat out refuse to buy a car until the Challenger hits the show room floor.

when the challenger comes out in 08' i'll be first in line to buy it. i was originally thinking of the king of the road mustang but decided against it. seems everyone has a mustang these days...the striped kind of course. i rented the 500hp shelby mustang a few months ago and it was a blast to drive. but having a 'general' would be an eye catcher!

I think the fellas at dodge did a much better job at redesigning the Challenger compared to the new Chargers, Like im all about the old huge muscle, and if its younger than 20 years i usually dont pay much attention, but this one grabbed my attention very quickly, Its almost like they took the charger and tried to make it a family car, the charger was never intended to be a family car.
