My daughter will pick up her first new car tomorrow from Woodhouse Dodge in Blair, NE. It is a bright silver Charger R/T with Road and Track suspension, Sirius, Premium sound, Navigation, etc, but most importantly an SRT8 hood with functional airscoop from the SRT8 parts bin, with an airfoil (silver) on the bootie. She just liked the SRT8 hood and airfoil's appearance, but wanted the better gas mileage afforded by the MDS on the smaller Hemi. This car comes with the suede inserts similar to the Daytona and SRT8, and is lower due to the R & T package. A customer told Bill Pemberton , the salesman at Woodhouse, that he didn't know SRT8's came with those wheels. He he. Bill says the car looks awesome, so I've asked my daughter to post photos on this site for all to see. Incidentally, this R & T package also has the 350 hp engine like the Daytona, if I'm not mistaken. The air scoop might add a few ponies, too. Maybe a K & N filter will be a future addon. I like the look of the stock from bumper and the SRT hood.

So what you have there is a Road/Track Group Charger R/T with the SRT hood and spoiler. Very nice! You only need the wheels now and the average person will never know it's not an SRT-8.;)
I meant to take pics and didn't, but a couple weeks ago I had a customer who wanted his Inferno Red Charger R/T with the Road/Track Group turned into a Daytona "clone". So we got him the flat-black graphics, spoiler, and grille inserts (he decided to keep the chrome crosshairs though), and the end result was a great looking, one of a kind car. I love stuff like this!

Do you have pictures of the air scoop. I am just about to purchase my RT and I am planning on getting the SRT8 Hood option aswell.
TIA

My daughter has photos, and I'll try to get her to post them. The SRT8 hood diffuses the air to the right and left into the entire engine compartment, which might help cool the engine, but none of the cool air gets into the intake plenum. It looks cool enough to be worth the extra cost, but I doubt that it adds a single horsepower. A good CAI system would produce more ponies, but the looks of the hood make the R/T look much cooler than the stock (plain) hood. I'm wondering about the Mopar headers, though. I think they'd be worth it. She has the 350 horse engine due to the Road and Track package, like the Daytona, but I think that is due to better flowing exhausts. You will definitely like the SRT8 hood's appearance. I promise.

Woodhouse Dodge in Nebraska charged $2,800 to paint and install the hood and the air foil. It looks just like an SRT8, except for the wheels and the lower front bumper. It IS very sharp; this ought to be an R/T option. I'll try to get her to post the photos this weekend. She has a new job, a new car, a new house and is on call at the hospital, so time for her has been short to come by. By we'll try to get more photos posted.

I bought the R/T two weeks ago now. Very happy too. I also bought the hood and Cat Back exhaust. They both have arrived now. I also purchased RKSport 3 piece spioler. Once it arrives I plan on getting that and the hood installed and painted.
The Hood is costing me $2500 Cad painted and installed. The Cat Back is $1340 Cad. The Spioler is $200 painted and installed. Paid $295 US not including shipping and customs. Also going to buy Eibauch springs. Installed for $820 Cad.
Later I will get the CAI and 20" rims.
I did buy a hood pin kit set. That should arrive next week. But uncertain if I am going to install it. It looks nice form the pictures but do Iwant to do it??? What do you all think?
I will take before and after pictures so you all can see.

Just a FYI.....the R/T Perf package doesnt make the charger lower like the SRT8. I wish it did since that is what I have as well but the suspensions on the charger RT with RT and the SRT are different.
