I recently had a CD jammed in my 2000 Intrepid 4-Disk changer. I pulled the unit out, took the cover off to get access to the CDs. Reconnected the power cable and applied slight pressure to the top CD while the unit was doing its cycling-thing. The jammed CD finally ejected and everything was operating fine again. Turns out the CD was slightly warped, apparently from the heat in the "CD-wallet" on my sun visor. My only remaining problem is that apparently when working on the unit, the shoch-mount suspension springs on the sides of the unit came loose, fell off and I apparently didn't get them back on correctly because CDs now skip whenever I hit a road bump. Does anyone know of any literature available electronically (service manuals, bulletins, etc.) with pictures (or can someone take some pictures?) which show the proper spring locations and connections for this changer? Thanks in advance.
