I went to the dyno this afternoon and my Viper made 580.4 HP and 607.6 pound/feet torque (SAE corrected). Flywheel number is 682 HP - I predicted 675 HP before the test today. I think if there had been time for another run those numbers would have been higher by about 10 in each category.
My non supercharged numbers were 436.1 HP and 480.6 pound/feet torque.
The increase is 144.3 HP and 127 pound/feet torque at 5 pound boost.
2800 RPM is used much, much more by me than the following peak numbers. Note the RPM at which they occur, both Before the Roe Supercharger and After the supercharger.
The After numbers, especially the HP measurement are probably really 10 units higher because of the proximity to the dyno cut off at the low end (torque) and high end (HP). The high end looks like the dyno pull ended at 5750 RPM. The low end looks like the pull started at 2800 RPM.
I'll try to post the graph of the Before and After dyno runs superimposed real soon.

Sweeeeeettttttttt!!!!!!:smokin: Man, that must be a beast on the road:) Let me know if you ever need any rearend parts, seeing as how we build it at work i can parts for a real good price. i bought a trac-loc for my jeep when i had it and cost me like $40 compared to over 200 dealer/aftermarket. Just something to think about.

Thanks for the offer. The most abuse my Viper will ever see are these dyno runs. I usually drive it 1400-2400 RPM, with occassional frolicking above that to 4500+ RPMs. I don't drag race my Viper - I'll let the better drivers do that & they pretty much average with close to the same mods I have 10.7 sec. ET @ 132 MPH. The Viper rear ends are pretty much bullet proof. Even in a stock Viper, going from the stock 3.07 rear gear to a 3.55 doesn't get any better times because of wheel spin - and I can (but don't) spin my tires lots more than a stock Viper.
Except for a faint whistle at low RPMs, it doesn't feel like there's anything under the hood except for a much bigger engine than a Viper normally has - the increase in power is that smooth.
I do think about it before I get in the driver's seat - Am I ready for this?. When I'm in the driver's seat before I start it up I build up my courage to drive it. I start it and back out carefully onto my street and drive it below 2000 RPMs for a while to get the fluids a chance to warm to operating termperatures - the transmission takes longer than the rest of the fluids to warm up. I find my way to the entrance ramp to the interstate and it's a long one. The traffic behind me wonders why I'm going only 35 MPH when they want to go 60 MPH so they can be up to the speed of traffic when they enter the highway, then they realize they are going to see something very special. I make sure that I will be able to blend into the light traffic on the highway, and as I hit the last 100 feet of ramp before the highway I take a breath of air and feel my heart start to race and I smoothly push the Snake Pedal towards the floor mat just fast enough that I don't lose too much traction and by the time I'm hitting 100 MPH the Snake Pedal is only 1/2 way down. And this is in 4th gear! I shift to 5th or 6th gear and coast down to the speed limit + or - 5 MPH. The people behind me on the entrance ramp probably thought I floored it, but I didn't even come close. In 4th gear, 4000 RPMs is 100 MPH and the 6000 RPM redline is 150 MPH.
Oh, yeah - my heart is pounding and my breathing rate is also elevated for quite some time after I slow down to the speed limit.
I did a full throttle run in 4th gear up to just about 4000 RPMs a few weeks ago and when I stopped accellerating I thought it was in 2nd gear at wide open throttle! It took hours for my heart rate to come back to normal.

Sun-Ra, F$%#*&@G RADICAL!!!!!! I was impressed with the before numbers. Those after numbers must be one hell of a handfull. I'm sure that there are very few vehicles (cars or bikes) that will out perform that thing. Be careful!!! Mashing the go pedal could be a prerequisite for kidney failure!!!

My neighbor in Hubbard, Ohio has a GTS viper and he says that it's faster than anything on the road but I think you have him beat just by description. I'm very envious of you Sun!:)

SunRaKat,
Could you enlighten me a little on the VEC2 chip?
I'm not sure what the Viper is using for a computer. OBD?
If so, is Roe doing custom tunes for other vehicles? I'm searching all over for a piggy-back OBD plug-in tuner, or a "GOOD" custom burn for my supercharged application.
There are a lot of horses hiding behind the screwed up air/fuel ratios in the truck now. In fact, I worry about it. I'm planning on doing a Quick Fix by just dropping in some fatter injectors, but want the computer to be enhanced to get the most from my combination.
Any help regarding Sean Roe's applications, and what all the VEC2 does would be great.
Thanks
And by the way, I think you ought to drive it like you stole it for a while. Need to see just what it can do...
If you can't bring yourself to do it, I'll gladly take it for a "joy-ride".
You're pushing more HP than the Competition models come with...Can you imagine hopping on the Circuit with the big boys, and making them feel bad?

We're finally getting a good rain which will wash the winter salt away from the roads and the air temperature is getting warmer, too.
"And by the way, I think you ought to drive it like you stole it for a while. Need to see just what it can do..."
The first 2 dyno runs produced prodigeous amounts of thick black smoke & then the carbon was burned out and my spark plugs were clean. Now I can drive it harder to keep the inside of the engine clean, but I'll be forced to do so in 3rd gear, which is good for around 115 MPH @ 6000 RPM since 4th gear is 150 MPH @ 6000 RPM.
"If so, is Roe doing custom tunes for other vehicles?"
I think Sean just does Vipers, but you can call him to find out.
www.roeracing.com has his phone number.

I'd beat them in the straightaways once or twice and then go straight where the road curves (not good) - I have essentially stock brakes and they have race brakes - BIG DIFFERENCE. In order to do road racing I'd need to upgrade my brakes ($5000) and radiator ($1000) and 5 or 6 point seat belts ($1000) and more etc. ($?) - way beyond my pocketbook. I just wanted a fast car to street frolic in without having to stress any parts too much so there's no big expenses of repairs to contend with. I think I got it now. :pimp:

SunRaKat....
I did much surfing over on the Viper forums, and on Sean's web-site. I believe he is strictly a Viper Man...Good for you guys.
Lynn, over at DakotaTrucks.com, myself, and others are pushing for the UNICHIP(a piggy-back system, tuned on a dyno, etc..). I think I will wait a hair bit longer to see if this materializes.
But, I will have Sean in the back of my mind. He's got the know-how, and he's got the equipment, just a matter of studying the inside of the PCM...
I think Paxton should have done a bit more R&D on the unit I'm currently running. I know they run safe tunes from factory, to keep from warranty issues, and law-suits, but they have missed the boat with the Engine Management Unit.
Thanks for the links. I enjoyed myself over in the Viper Forums. Thanks for making me realize just how slow I am. :VHOT:

Here's the before and after dyno graph. Please note the Horsepower (left) side and the Torque (right) side have the numbers in different positions.
