This week i am pulling the motor on my w150, i have got everything set up and made plans to get the other stuff, i just have a few questions on doing it.
After removing everything i need to get the motor out where should i hook the chains to for the best spot, and will the motor just pull away from the tranny(manual)?

The best thing to do would be to stagger the chain diagonally. The heads have threaded holes front and rear or you can use a lifting plate that bolts down to the intake where the carb. was.

The engine will come away from the tranny...just need to get the clutch to clear the input shaft before you start jacking the engine out.

Also you'll want to put a jack under the tranny so it doesn't just drop when the input shaft come out of the clutch.

everything is off now, how many bolts are holding the engine to the tranny?

Six bolts plus the brackets if they are still there, plus the starter and the torque converter bolts (if it's an auto).
