New 3.8 and 4.0 liter V6 engines, based on the current 3.5 liter, will be built at Trenton Engine, to the tune of 485,000 engines per year. They are said to be destined for the LX, minivans, and Pacificas, though Jeeps would also likely get a few.

I wonder what the 3.8 and the old 3.8 will have in commmon, being that the 3.5 is loosely based off of the 3.3 block.
Not that it would matter, most 2001(+) parts wont work with the older 3.x engines.

2007-2008 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Caravan Minivans (RT series) (http://www.allpar.com/model/m/2008-minivans.html)
Stow 'n' Go is to be reworked; all wheel drive may be re-introduced.
We expect a built in diaper changing station to be added - and we can say that would have been a welcome feature in our own lives! Also expected are rear windows that roll down, and much larger tail-lights.
Confirmed: a 4.0 liter V6 or a new 3.8 liter V6 for minivans and Pacificas.
coil springs in the rear

Shelbydodgeimp, the 3.3 and the current 3.8 are the same basic motor. The 3.5 engine is a totally different engine.
