My Mom has a 2005 Grand Caravan SXT with dual power sliding doors. On the passenger side, I noticed today that there is a small puddle right under where the door would be when the van is in the garage. We could not find anything leaking. What could it be?

Its condensation from the rear a/c lines. They sweat from the exhaust that is close by. Look under and you will see. :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually don't think it's that because the liquid is oily and brown. I don't think it's from the AC because it hasn't been much above freezing here for a month unless you get condensation when you run the defrost. The van only has 14000 miles on it so it is still under warranty and hopefully it isn't anything major.

The fact that the stuff is oily means that you have a crack in the A/C line. That's lubricating oil for the A/C leaking out. I had the same thing happen at the back of the van. There are two lines: One's about $130, the other's about $180, plus installation and a recharge of your air conditioning system. I picked up both of them at a junkyard for $35. I know these lines were subject of a technical service bulletin for cracking, but I don't know if it got upgraded to a recall.

Good luck.
