I have a 2000 grand caravan and when i am driving around 25-35 mph the steering wheel moves left and right. like a wobbling. Any ideas what causes this i have taken it to the shop a few times but they never seem to know what it is and it never gets fixed.

Funny you bring that one up. I have had that same problem on my wifes last two vans. The one that we have now is the worst of them all. I have not had any luck with getting this resolved. The van that we have now has had almost all of the stearing and suspension replaced and it still does it.

I had this problem persistently, and had gone through and replaced literally every front end part without resolution until my local shop hit on the solution: bad CV joints. I didn't think they would behave that way when they failed, but that's what fixed it.
Good luck, and let us know if it works for you.

Hi cookspyder,
Is it is worse when you are in the gas?
If so, it's the CV joints.

And dont forget the often over looked busted belt in the front wheel.
Drove me crazy for a freaking month in my old Accord.
Couldnt actually see it and everytime I checked it, I happened to be parked on the broken area.
Just thought I would throw that one in there.

I have had this problem on my 94 since I changed the Drive axles. I'm guessing I got a drive axle with a bad inner CV joint. But it does not get worse under acceleration.
