;) Hello
I was wondering what headers would be the best for my truck . It is a 73 w200 with a 318 . I have priced hooker , headman , dynomax and flowtech headers . they are all about $50.00 different in the price of each other . Thanks again for the help

i've got hedman headers on mine... and they are great headers, my dad said he's had a few different sets of headers and these are the thickest, best ones he's had on the truck.

I would pay the extra $$$ and get ceramic coated headers. They won't rust out and it will reduce under-hood temps. Plus they look better too.

yup, thats one problem about the headers on my truck.. after 25+ years on the truck, and 10 sitting.. they've rusted pretty good.. gonna have to get them sandblasted when we do the engine.

Aim for something with a thick flange. 3/8" good, 5/16 or less is junk.

Hooker is pretty much the best header manufacturer out there, I'd get them if you have the $$$.

headman and hooker make quality pieces. Except for the fact that they rust out so quickly. A ceramic coating would eliminate that problem.
