I believe that Milemarker is the only company that still offere kits to convert the transfer case and hubs out.

ok but what would the cost be kinda on a tight budget and im tired of replacing wheel bearings every two years because of my 33" tires

Last time I priced it it was around $500 for the Mile Marker t-case kit from summit.

In my case, I swapped the full time front with a part time from an '83 ramcharger and run with the t-case in loc when the front is dissengaged. Only catch is the bolt pattern is 5X5.5 instead of 5X4.5 on the full time.

Cost was $70 for both front and rear axels at the local yard, $120 to rebuild the rear breaks plus the cost of new weels for the different bolt pattern.

Rayven What State Do You Live In? I Know Where There Is A Set Of 1/2 Ramcharger Axle With The Rear A Posi Unit. The Front Has New U-joint And Wheel Bearing And Ball Joint. I Also Have A 727trans And A Np208 T-case Which Is Part Time.

The transfer case kit and the hub kit will cost close to $700. You may want to consider and axle or knuckle swap instead. Also you can try using Amsoil 100% synthetic grease to grease the bearings through the zerk fitting. I have used this for years with great results. Your original knuckles may be shot also as there is a fine line between whats good and whats bad. The specs are in the Factory Service Manual.

From what I have heard, the front bearings on our trucks even after going to the part time conversion, are still the weak link.
I would have gone to a part time set of axles on mine, but I have a nice set of aluminum wheels on mine and didn't want to give those up.

I purchased the Milemarker part-time conversion kit for my truck at

http://www.truckperformance.com/

I paid less than what is stated on the website since I was a first-time customer; however, their price is considerably less than $700. If you end up replacing bearings, seals, u-joints, rotors it can get close to $700.

I converted the full time transfer case only on my '79 W150.
I gained about 1 MPG. The front drive parts draw less power if they don't have power going through them.
