I have a 94 dodge caravan in the last year i have put 3 left side CV shafts in it and 2 of those were a month apart. now 2 months later i think i am loosing another one. i found the motor mount under the radiator bad and replaced it when i put the last shaft in. this is driving me crazy to the point i want to junk the van. i have also put new brakes and rotors in the front. it shakes or wobbles under acceleration and if you have to get on the brakes hard. please help. :help: :help:

If your van is eating that many CV's it could indicate that your engine isn't centered properly and that puts a tremendous amount of stress on the CV's.
When you replaced the front mount did the engine move left or right any, you may have not noticed if it did. Check the other 2 mounts, the other culprit could be the transmission mount is gone, over time the rubber insert compresses to 1/2 it's size and the engine either moves or sags on that side.

Chet.

Thanks i wandered about that because it (the mount) did move considerably when i replaced it and there seems to be a lot of twist in that axle (meaning it is not very straight out of the tranny to the wheel.
thanks again for your help.
