Never had a problem with this van. Drove it approx 50 miles this weekend, parked it for 4 hrs. Caravan would not start. Turns over and sounds like its about to start-but nothing. Waiting to get it into garage tomorrow, but if anyone has an idea what the problem is, I'd sure appreciate a heads up!

No spark o no gas.
Rule out one then the other must be the culprit.
Stick to simple first.
Also any trouble codes?

What engine type? 3.0 or 3.3

Engine is 3.0. Thanks for the help. I am not mechanically inclined, but my first thought was no spark. The plugs could be original to the van, I know in the 2 yrs I've owned it, they haven't been replaced.

Do you hear the fuel pump come on (whine) for a couple of seconds when you turn to the key to the "on" position before you crank the motor?
My '95 GC lost it's fuel pump 500 miles from home last year, same symptoms, crank but no start. Could be the pump relay or the pump.

The 3.0L uses a timing belt opposed to a timing chain in the 3.3. Timing belts break with age and high mileage. If the engine is turning over but doesn't start it could be the belt has broken, or as someone mentioned above the fuel pump could be gone.
To check and see if its the belt, remove the distributer cap and have someone crank over the engine. If the rotor turns its ok, if it doesn't it means the timing belt has broken.
To check the fuel pump, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine, listen very carefully for a hum or a whine from the rear of the van, this is the fuel pump priming, this hum will only last for a seond or two so you really have to pay attention. If you hear nothing the fuel pump probabaly needs to be replaced.
