85 Ram troubles

Hey guys, :help:

I'm new to the site and I'm hoping someone can help me with some over-the-web trouble shooting.

I have an 85 Ram with a 318

Ive been driving down the road and the engine will cut out, not stall but lose power like the gas has been cut off. It will kick back in and take off again then sometimes its fine or it may cut out again several times. (This is when the truck is warm.)

Anybody have this problem??

I have had trouble starting the truck sometimes as the choke seems to stick open. Could this be the choke sticking shut?

Ingnition maybe?

Start the engine and wiggle some of the wiring harnesses to see if the engine will shut down. Sounds more like ignition or a loose connection somewhere. Check the connections on the coil, are the cap and rotor in good shape?
