front drive shaft

;) Just a quick question. I have had the front driveshaft out of my 73 w200 for so long while i have been restoring the truck . I can remember what way it goies back in ! I think that that sliding end goes to the transfer case . Please let me know if this is right . Thanks again for the help . ;)

Not for sure but I think you're right.

Sliding end with the single u-joint goes forward, on the front diff. The double u-joint goes on the rear, attached to the t-case.
