I don't know if I am in the correct forum, but I will give it a try. My old man has a Dodge Powerwagon 200, 1979. It belonged to the local fire department and has only run 20.000 miles. The tires are old and dangerous, but not the original ones. Does anyone know what the original tires were and where to find them?
I am also looking for seatbelts for the same truck.
The truck was manufactured for export so it is possible it is called something else in the states. I will put a picture in my gallery.

Is there a reason you want the original tires, or do you just mean what was the original size? What size rims?

Well, no, the aim is just to get is as original as possible. The rims are 16.5" What I can read from the tires is 9.50R 16.5 LT. I have added a picture of the car in my garage.

The D200 should have 8 lug wheels. I think.

Yeah they are 8-lug.
You can still buy 16.5/9.50's, any tire place should be able to get them. That should be about the original size too, anywhere between 7.50 and 9.50 came on them I think, depending on the package it was ordered with(ie a Camper Special would have had wider tires than a base model D200)

Yes, it does have 8-lug wheels.
I looked at www.tirerack.com and found some Kumho tires that might do http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compare1.jsp?width=9.5&ratio=0&diameter=16.5&startIndex=0&search=true&pagelen=20&pagenum=1&pagemark=1&x=56&y=12&RunFlat=All
And the price is only $91.
