Anybody here ever drop in a supercharger in a 4.7 Or knows sombody who has.
That would be pretty sick, if you do basic mods like CAI & exhaust you'll get about 12-20 more horse power and if you toped it off w/ a Supercharger @ 5 psi you can get about 80 more.Now your Dak could have close to 315.

KennyBell doesn't make superchargers for Dodge anymore, and I doubt you would want one with all the tranny shifting problems they cause. Nobody makes a supercharger for a Dakota above '02. Haven't seen one yet for the NGC trucks. Superchips doesn't even have a tuner yet. So I would guess it will be quite a while before a kit is made. You could build your own with the older style kit that is out there from Paxton. But I think you would have a hard time tuning it without there being anybody that can work on the new pcm's.

In April of this year they said June-July.....When July rolled around they said Sept.-Oct......When Oct. rolled around they said Dec.-Jan 06....Now it's April-May 06? The moral of this story is Superchips is full of crap and you'll see it when you see it, whenever that might be. I'm certainly not gonna hold my breathe waiting for them. Guys with 04 Dak's are still waiting...

Well the '00 guys had to wait 4 years for a tuner, so I don't think a year or two will kill you. I would rather wait and have them get all the bugs out so you don't have the problems they did when the earlier 4.7 turner came out with many different versions of pcm flashes. Many people had to send their unit back 2-3 times before it worked.

i know the deal...i have had superchips on every ford vehicle that i owned including sct. also had diablo and hypertech but i have always loved superchips. i have spoke with the programmers many of times during dyno sessions well pulling out dips from there original loaded program, and was one who had a no start problem because of superchips. i'm just going by what i was told. looking foward to it doesn't bother me.

I put a Procharger on my 2003 4.7 ...and it really worked great ...however i have removed untill i can get better control of all the electronic management codes . we are working on it ..just dont have it ready to for everyday use yet
