judging from the location of the rims to the body, I would guess at least 8". I have heard not good things about whiplash.

That actually makes the truck look good. I am not a big fan of the new Rams, but I am a sucker for just about anything with a lift and bigger tires.

Yeah they got hit pretty hard with customer service claims...and that was it!!!...I heard their lifts are pretty good...and strong:cool:...This I heard from other guys on different Boards...Most guys who said they've wheeled with them...and didn't have any real problems!!!...I guess will just have to wait and see if they still get satisfied customers not lawsuits!!!

I have heard of quality issues and poor design with Whiplash and they do have numerous complaints files.

What I heard about them from other boards I'm on... is that the complaints were on the customer service side ...not with the quality of their lifts...Although the name "Whiplash" makes you think about buying a lift from them...I actually heard from other owners that their lifts were used by them in sum brutal Off-Road treatment...and not any of them had problems with them...or complaints...I guess will just have to wait and see...If I was gonna do a huge lift...I'd go with them...and try it for myself...although I've only run "name brand" lifts on my trucks!!!;)

I have heard nothing but bad reports on whiplash. Check this link out http://www.rockcrawler.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=21&t=000013 I have not heard anything good about Whiplash from any board I have been to.
I would not take a chance on this company. How many times do people need to be F'ed over by a company before you stop associating with them? If you keep going to them, they will never change. Let us keep the good companies with the good customer service and good products in business and run the other A-holes out of business.
It would take a very long time before I would even consider blessing that company with my money. They would have to have been through hell and back with a long-long list of very happy and very satisfied customers.
Of course, this is my opinion and if everyone wants to keep the jerks (term for any bad business) in business then that is your prerogative.

I have seen a whiplash lift up and close and all it was, was STRAIGHT CRAP. The welds were booger welds that didn't flow and one of the arms was not lining up (the weld was crooked) if you do buy Whiplash just be careful and don't go off road. :) As far as that 02 it looks GREAT but I just wish a more reputable professional shop would have come out with a lift first.

What is the web site that you found the pic of the 02 lifted?

I talked with a guy at Whiplash and it looks like they are going to be coming out with a 6" lift for the 02 as well.
In my mind this is a little more reasonable for a daily driver like mine. Should look good with 35's or 37's.
