If this is Dodge's version of the Liberty platform, I hope they will also offer the Diesel engine! I have a friend with one of the new Liberty Diesels and its awesome! The mileage he's getting is more like that of a compact car.

Hate to say it, but it looks like a cracker box with some wheels attached to it, can't DC do better than that? Sorry but it looks like some of the other boxes on the road nowday, I think that the stylists have lost track of true form and practicality of the designs for uses in the real world.

Personally, I'm not gettin' these box designs. Like the Toyota Scion (I think it's called) and that Honda thing that looks like a square box. Even the new Jeep Commander is too square for me. Just no style! I just can't imagine an automotive design guy drawing a square with wheels and getting excited about it, going to his boss, and saying "look boss! look at what I've come up with. Isn't it great." If I were his boss, I would look at his square with wheels and say "for God's sake man, it's just a square with wheels. Where's your imagination? Where's your creativity?"

I don't mind the squareness. I'm a HUGE fan of the ol Jeep Cherokees, and the new Commander as well. I think it looks alright. I'll have to see it in person to give it my final stamp of approval.

I need to see one in person to get an idea of the scale. Since it's built of the Liberty I'm afraid it's tiny and useless.

I have an 04 Durango and an 03 Liberty, it looks bigger than a Liberty, more like a short wheelbase Commander.

We already have enough toaster's with wheels on the road, I agree with TR4Petty, we already have enough bowes on with wheels out their, all the new car designers should be fired, and the designers of the 70's should be brought back, thats when cars were cars.. I dont think their problem is so much that they are not creative, its that they are to creative for their own good, they tend to ruin a good thing. example, the new chargers and daytona's, they look nothing like they used too. I think designers these days are more conserned with how many cup holders they can fit in a car vrs what your average blue callor American wants in a vehicle.
